Donate to Help Survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
Your donation helps CADV provide safe shelter, advocacy, and essential resources to survivors and their families. Every gift makes a meaningful impact.
Empower Survivors and Make a Lasting Impact
CADV relies on the generosity of donors to provide essential services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Your contributions help fund emergency shelter, crisis response, counseling, advocacy programs, and daily necessities for survivors and their children. Every gift, whether large or small, enables survivors to rebuild their lives in safety and dignity.
Flexible Ways to Support CADV
With the introduction of tax reforms, there are many ways to give that provide financial benefits to you while supporting CADV’s mission. Whether you prefer cash donations, monthly contributions, or gifts of goods, your generosity has a direct impact on the lives of survivors.
Ways to Give:
Cash Donations
Consider a one-time or recurring donation. Donations over $100 may qualify for 70% Domestic Violence Shelter Tax Credits.
Appreciated Stock
Donate stocks that have increased in value to CADV. Giving appreciated stock can help you avoid capital gains tax while supporting survivors.
Retirement Assets
Name CADV as a beneficiary of retirement plan assets or give from your IRA if age 70.5 or older.
Gifts of Real Estate
Donating appreciated property may reduce capital gains tax while supporting survivors.
Gift Cards
Walmart, Gerbes, Save A Lot, or Dollar General gift cards help provide supplies directly to families in need.
Purchase Products to Help Survivors
CADV maintains an Amazon Wishlist with items that help survivors immediately. Each survivor’s needs may vary, but essentials such as clean clothes, hygiene products, diapers, and toys for children are always in demand. Your contribution through these purchases helps ensure survivors have the right items at the right time. You can use Capital One Shopping to help you find even MORE savings on your items! Use this FREE tool to compare prices across different retailers and secure the best deal possible – all while supporting local victims of domestic violence and their families.
